ABOUT EQUIPMENT TRAILERS
Kaufman Trailers manufactures a comprehensive line of equipment trailers. All of our equipment trailers have the floor down in between our standard heavy gauge diamond plate fenders. We offer four basic equipment trailers styles. Our two most popular equipment trailer styles are also available as standard gooseneck equipment trailer models. All Kaufman equipment trailers are manufactured with a heavy duty channel iron frame, channel wrap around tongue, and channel cross members with the exception of our specialty, purpose built, forklift tilt equipment trailer, which uses an angle iron main frame.
Equipment Trailers – Our standard equipment trailer line is available in GVW ratings from 7,000 – 14,000 lb. All equipment trailers have the floor even with the top of the frame for easy side loading of palletized material and feature swing up loading ramps. The 10,000 GVWR and up models have a dovetail as standard. We increase the standard features as the weight rating progresses on our equipment trailer line.
DELUXE Equipment Trailers – Our DELUXE equipment trailers are available only in a 10,000 and 15,000 GVW rating. Our best options are combined in a package deal including: frame upgrades, radial tires, rub rail, adjustable coupler, 12,000 lb. drop foot jack, toolbox with lockable lid, and a U.S. made sealed wiring harness with lifetime LED lights.
Gooseneck Equipment Trailers – Our most popular equipment trailer models are available as a gooseneck trailer.
DELUXE Gooseneck Equipment Trailers – Added premium features are included in a package deal on this equipment trailer. This gooseneck equipment trailer is only available in 15,000 GVW rating.
Skid Steer Equipment Trailers – Our standard skid steer equipment trailer line is available in GVW ratings from 7,000 – 14,000 lb. All skid steer equipment trailers have the floor down in between the frame runners. This makes the floor lower for easier loading of skid steers. We increase the standard features as the weight rating progresses on our skid steer equipment trailer line.
DELUXE Skid Steer Equipment Trailers – Our DELUXE skid steer equipment trailers are available only in a 10,000 and 15,000 GVW rating. Our best options are combined in a package deal including: frame upgrades, radial tires, rub rail, adjustable coupler, 12,000 lb. drop foot jack, toolbox with lockable lid, and a U.S. made sealed wiring harness with lifetime LED lights.
Tilt Equipment Trailers – Our most popular equipment trailer model! Our tilt equipment trailers have an 8’ fixed front section for hauling attachments, etc. The rear section tilts for loading equipment without ramps. Our standard tilt equipment trailers are only available in 14,000 GVW rating, and are fully equipped.

Forklift Tilt Equipment Trailers – Hauling conventional forklifts requires a purpose built equipment trailer, due to the rear counter weight load concentration and low clearance. Our forklift tilt equipment trailer features super heavy construction to accommodate these requirements.
