Conventional forklifts require purpose built equipment trailers due to the rear counter weight and small rear tires. Because of the concentrated load on the rear tires, most standard trailer designs are not adequate. This model has 12" cross member spacing AND heavy duty reinforcement under this area to support the floor. The easy loading angle and traction affording ridged mesh make hauling your forklift easy with this custom Kaufman forklift tilt equipment trailer model.
Due to its design, this trailer does not pull well when empty. Be advised that slower speeds are necessary when transporting this trailer with no load!
A very popular option is our SUPER DUTY axle/tire upgrade. This includes standard duty 8,000 lb. axles and load range H 17.5" tires on heavy duty wheels. The 8,000 lb. axles feature thicker, high tensile axle beam, larger bearings, and 5/8" studs. A super duty CAST adjustable coupler is also included with this package.
