Our 15,000 GVWR wood floor tilt car trailers are manufactured with a 6" channel frame and tongue, and 3x4 heavy wall tubing on the full length tilting bed with 3" channel cross members on 16" centers. The entire bed tilts for loading and is built with all tubing steel construction. Knife edge toe plates and the gradual loading angle, made possible by a total bed length (with toe plates) of 22', make it possible to load sports cars with low clearance that will not load on standard ramp and dovetail car trailers. This heavy duty model can also double as an equipment trailer. A hydraulic damper cushions the lowering of the bed during loading. Additional standard features on this high quality car trailer include a 12k drop foot jack, tear drop fenders, four-wheel brakes, radial tires, stake pockets with rub rail, and a sealed modular wiring harness with lifetime LED lights.
Due to its heavy duty running gear, this model does not ride as smoothly as lighter GVWR models when hauling cars.
