Trailer Description
Our 53 ft. low profile Wedge trailer is custom built to fit your trucks hitch height. This trailer must be pulled with a chassis cab (no truck bed) Our Wedge style car trailers are state of the art and have become the standard of the industry. Kaufman Wedge car trailers make up about 2/3rds of the 3 and 4 car trailers on US highways. This trailer model has our upgraded heavy duty 6 in. tubing frame. Fixed bed length is 53 ft. It is constructed with a hi-tensile tubing frame and heavy ridged mesh runners which reduce weight and wind drag, while giving good loading traction in inclement weather. Standard running gear on this model is 3-7,000 lb. axles with slipper spring suspension and 16″ radial tires. Tying down your load is quick and easy with the 16 tie-down ratchets and over the tire straps that are included. Spare tire is also included as standard. This durable 53 ft. low profile car trailer works well with today’s 1-ton chassis cab trucks.
