Tandem Enclosed Trailers – Information
Standard – Round or V Nose
Kaufman Trailers Standard 7′ wide Tandem Enclosed Trailers are available in 14′, 16′, and 18′ lengths. Axles are 3,500 lb. 4″ drop with spring suspension, 4-wheel brakes, and 205/75 radial tires. The main frame and tongue are 4×2 rectangular tubing. Crossmembers and wall studs are on 24″ centers. The floor is 3/4″ Stable Deck with Luan walls. You can get barn doors or a ramp gate for the same price. The side door on Standard models is a plant made door. The aluminum skin is .024. Incandescent lighting meets DOT requirements. The coupler is a 2 5/16″ a-frame with a side wind jack. The Standard Tandem Enclosed Trailers are our lowest priced line for the price conscious buyer.
Deluxe – Round or V Nose
Deluxe 7′ wide Tandem Enclosed Trailers are offered in 14′, 16′, and 18′ lengths. Axles are 3,500 lb. 4″ drop with spring suspension, 4-wheel brakes, and 205/75 radial tires. The main frame and tongue are 4×2 rectangular tubing. Crossmembers and wall studs upgrade to 16″ centers with .030 aluminum skin for increased durability. You can choose most colors we stock for no extra charge. The roof also upgrades to one piece all aluminum for maximum roof life with no leaks. We use all tubing wall posts for maximum frame durability – no hat posts or z-posts. Standard interior height is 6’6″. The floor is 3/8″ Stable Wall with Dry Max walls. Barn doors or a ramp gate are available at the same price for either setup. The coupler is a 2 5/16″ a-frame with an upgraded front crank jack. An RV-style side door with piano hinge and “slam latch” is standard on this model line. All LED lighting is included on this model. Premium – Round or V Nose
Kaufman’s Premium model adds several valuable upgrades. In addition to the 6’6″ standard interior height of the Deluxe model, we also include rubber torsion suspension axles with premium aluminum wheels and West Lake brand radial tires. An additional upgrade is that the .030 aluminum skin is bonded design for a clean, screw-less exterior look. The main frame and tongue are 4×2 rectangular tubing. Crossmembers and wall studs are on 16″ centers. The floor is 3/4″ Stable Deck with 3/8″ Stable Walls. Barn doors or a ramp gate are available at the same price for either setup. The coupler is a 2 5/16″ a-frame with a black side wind jack. An RV-style side door with piano hinge and “slam latch” as well as a cam lock for added security is included. LED tail lights with LED slim line running lights give you a premium lighting package. Premium Tandem Enclosed Trailers are a great investment that will last you many years.
